Dorothy "Dot" Schaefer

(nee Blum) loving mother of Denise (David) Harpring, Douglas (Lorie) Schaefer and Sandy Dennedy.  Devoted grandmother of Amy (Jason) Burgess, Rebecka (Nick) Valente, Matt (Rebekah) Dennedy, Tim (Kristin) Dennedy, Brandon, Eric & Allie Schaefer.  Cherished great grandmother of Harper and Cecily Burgess, Lillian, Kelsey and Natalie Dennedy.  Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at age 89.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Rose (nee Hammann) Blum, and her siblings, Sr. Rosemary of the Eucharist, O.C.D., Elaine Plogmann, Richard Blum, and infant Betty Blum.

Dorothy was a former member of the Seven Hills Chapter Sweet Adelines International Chorus for over 30 years.  She was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds.  Dot retired after 40 years of service as an Avon Consultant.
