beloved husband of Carol Sue Mayer, born in Alliance, OH to the late Dean and Marjorie (nee Gorman) Mayer, resided in N. Ft. Meyers, FL. Loving father of Abbey Mayer and step father of Lisa (Greg) Casavant and Christopher Schaefer. Dear brother of Russ (Sue) Mayer, Steve (Laura) Mayer, Lynne (Conrad) Humphrey, and Roger (Barbara) Mayer. Grandchildren: Katelyn Martin, Trey and Aubrey Schaefer, Jeff, Sam, Roger, Tom, Abby and Julie Casavant, and many nieces and nephews. Passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, age 66. Visitation will be at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Saturday, December 15th from 2PM until time of memorial service at 3:30PM, reception will follow.
