Albert Tomer

Albert E. survived by beloved wife Margaret, his three children Mark David (Sandi), Jonathon Paul (Tracy), and Sarah Christine, Nancy Gaughan, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and brother Kenneth (Carol). Preceded in death by sister Avonelle. Al died Friday, June 20, 2014, at age 84. Al was a retired United Methodist minister serving churches in England and Massachusetts before coming to West Ohio where he served at the following UM Churches: Epworth (Kenton); Broadway (Toledo); Church of the Saviour (COS); Mason; and Clifton. Al was appointed district superintendent of the Cincinnati District in 1985 and retired in 1994. Al's memorial service will be Saturday, July 19, 2014 10AM at COS, 8005 Pfeiffer Rd. (45242). Visitation begins at 9am, service followed by reception. Memorial contributions may be made to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for research and treatment of Amyloidosis or Clifton UMC.
