Anthony "Tony" Dotson, an esteemed artist and a beloved member of his community, was born on April 14, 1971, in Cincinnati. He left this world on January 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy characterized by creativity, warmth, and an enduring love for his family.
A proud father, Tony cherished his role as the dad to Riley, Finley, and Keegan Dotson, who were undoubtedly his proudest accomplishments. He devoted countless hours to coaching their soccer teams, earning the admiration and affection of both his children and their teammates. His dedication as a sports coach showcased not only his commitment to nurturing young talent but also his ability to foster camaraderie and joy among those he mentored.
Tony attended Oak Hills High School, where he likely first honed the skills that would serve him well throughout his life. Known for his good sense of humor and sociable nature, he made friends easily and was often seen as a source of light within various circles. He had a passion for painting, woodworking, and an impressive Adidas shoe collection that reflected his love for design and craftsmanship.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Pat Dotson, and a brother, Brian Dotson. Anthony will also be missed by his niece, Molly Dotson, and others whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Alma Franklin and Nellie Dotson, who now welcome him into their eternal embrace.
Visitation will be Monday, January 20th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. from 3 PM until time of funeral blessing at 5 PM.
Anthony Dotson’s memory will live on through the vibrant stories of laughter and creativity he left behind, as well as the impact he had on the lives of many. His artistic spirit and loving approach to life will always be remembered.
