Barbara A. Sehlhorst, a radiant soul born on November 25, 1939, departed this world on March 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, love, and laughter. Her presence was a gift; she was always smiling and laughing, filling the lives of her loved ones with joy and positivity.

Barbara dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, cherishing moments spent together and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara is survived by her beloved daughter, Susan (Daniel) Schuler, along with her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin (Jill) Schuler and Madeline (Blayne) Phillips, as well as her great-grandchildren, Cadence, Clayton, and Allie. Her siblings, Cindy (Larry), Michael (Barb), Linda (Kenny), Timmy (Connie), Janet (Stu), George (Linda), and Virgie (Ralph), remain to carry forward her spirited memory. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members who were touched by her kindness and grace.

Barbara was not only devoted to her family but also had a passionate spirit that led her to travel. She also devoted countless hours volunteering in her community, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

A member of the Our Lady of Victory Cemetery Association, Barbara's faith played a significant role in her life.

She had a special fondness for desserts, often baking with her grandchildren and filling the room with laughter.

Barbara is lovingly remembered by all who knew her, including her late husband, Harry Sehlhorst, and her son, John Sehlhorst, both of whom preceded her in death. The loss of her brothers, Donald (Kelly-living), Tom (Karen-living), Jim and Robert, as well as her sister, Theresa (Doug-living), has left an indelible mark on her family, and they will forever hold dear the memories of the times shared.
