C. Tipton Helphinstine, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died unexpectedly at the age of 72 on January 23rd, 2010. Tipton was born July 8, 1937 in Ewing, Ky to Clarence and Lula Helphinstine. Tipton was an employee of Olympic Auto Park for 53 years. He was a devoted Ohio State Buckeye fan. His greatest joy in life came from being an outstanding father to his two sons, loving husband to his wife and doting Poppy to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his two sons Mark (Heather) and Todd (Susie), his two sisters Imogene White and Anne Moody, and his four grandchildren, Isaiah, Sarah, Austin, and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his sister Helen Day. Friends may call at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. Tuesday 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5841 Werk Rd. Family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
