Carol is preceeded by Gilbert Lowell Gregory, Jr. (Father) and Anthony Wayne Gregory (Brother). She was survived by her sons, Joshua Dean, Jeremy Grant, Jacob Russell and Jonah Daniel, Patricia J. Gregory (Mother), Sharon, Anna and Deborah (Sisters), Michael and Robert (Brothers). She also had 6 wonderful nieces, 3 Nephews and 3 Great Nieces.
Carol was born on October 26, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Gilbert L. Gregory and Patricia J. Gregory and an older sister, Sharon. The following November, she welcomed a little brother, Michael and the following year-the day after her 2nd birthday, she got her very own life-sized doll- a baby sister, Anna, was born. Her 2nd younger brother, Robert was born in 1968, followed by her youngest sister Debby in 1969. Her youngest brother, Tony, was born in 1971. The family then moved to Indiana, where Gilbert and Pat operated Lake Laverne, which is where Carol developed her love for fishing. In 1980 the family moved to LaBelle, Florida, where Carol attended and graduated from LaBelle High School. During her time there, she made some life-long friendships. She then went off to College, the big wide world! While attending North West Bible College in Minot, ND she bet George McQuire, an airman in the USAF at the time. They were married in December, 1984. In 1986, they welcomed the first of their 4 sons-Joshua Dean. They had a perfect little family, but knew they wanted more children. In 1988, their second born son, Jeremy Grant arrived. When 1990 rolled around, it was an extremely busy year for them. They received orders to leave Minot AFB to go to England. They also welcomed their third son, Jacob Russell. They lived in England for 4 years, traveling around and exploring the country on their free time. When the family finally moved back to the United States, the two older boys had a fine British accent. Upon leaving England, they were stationed at Eglin AFB near beautiful Destin, Florida. After living in base housing for 6 years and with the recent birth of their long awaited youngest son, Jonah Daniel, they purchased their first home in Destin. It was a beautiful house that they shared with Charlie, their sweet dog that they all loved so much.
In 2007 Carol moved back to Cincinnati and was employed with Childrensâaa Hospital where she loved her job and the friends that she worked with. Since moving back to Cincinnati, Carol made so many friends. She met Scott Golatzki whom Carol described as one of the best loves of her life and his daughter Ashley, whom she was so fond of. She was anticipating marrying Scott in 2013. They were so in love and were looking forward to combining their families. We will deeply miss Carols smile, her voice, her laugh and her crazy wild adventure for living life to the fullest. Most of all, we will miss her fierce love for her family and friends and her âaA"never met a strangerâaA attitude that made everyone around her always feel welcomed and loved.
