Charlene A. Cavanaugh
(nee Foster) beloved wife of Donald W. Cavanaugh for 51 years, loving mother of Jennifer (Chad) Cavanaugh, Daniel (Megan) Cavanaugh and Erin (Beau) Cavanaugh-Wyatt, Cherished Nana of Henry and Amelia Cavanaugh and Finnegan Wyatt, devoted daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Ann Foster and daughter-in-law of the late Edward and Evelyn Cavanaugh, dear sister of Ruthann Copley and Joyce (James) Burkhart and adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.

On Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the age of 74, Charlene passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Charlene grew up on the west side of Cincinnati and graduated from Seton High School.  She was a successful hairstylist for 45 years and the proprietor of three salons.  One of her greatest joys in life was her grandchildren, spending countless hours rooting them on in baseball and soccer.  In the spring, summer and hopefully fall, Charlene enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds.  She loved spending time with her family and friends whenever she could.  She will be missed by so many.

Family will greet friends on Thursday, December 21st from 5-7 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.    Funeral Mass & Celebration of her life will be Friday, December 22 at 10 AM at St. Simon the Apostle Church 825 Pontius Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.  Memorials may be made to Seton High School.
