Loving father of Kenneth Cates, Steven (Brenda) Cates and Sherry Summitt, grandfather of Michael, Rachel (Joel), Amanda, Adam (Patty), DJ and Miranda, great grandfather of Brenden, Henley, Averey and Mairen, brother of Ronald (Rosemarie), Mike, Kathy and Patricia.  Chester's family would like to thank all the caretakers at Twin Towers 1st floor for all the love they have shown to him over the last few years. Passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at age 85.  Visitation will be Monday, March 6th from 5 PM until time of service at 7 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Military services will follow.
