Clarence "Merk" Merkl devoted husband of Eileen Bovard Merkl (nee Ohmer) and the late Alice Merkl (nee Berwanger), loving father of Lawrence and Kenneth (Donna) Merkl, Kathleen (Gary) Vale, Nancy (Michael) Bauer, step-father of Ronald and Joseph Bovard and the late Mary Jo and Daniel Bovard, cherished grandfather of Timothy and Kyle Merkl, Kristen and Zachary Bauer, Justin, Heather and Joey Lee Bovard, dear brother of Arthur Merkl and Mary Lou Roll, loving son of the late Betty and George Merkl. February 17, 2011. Age 80. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Church, 25 E. Harrison Ave. North Bend, OH. Tuesday from 9:30AM until time of funeral mass 11:00AM.
