Dan's greatest love was teaching religion and history to his students at St. Teresa School of Avila. Dan began teaching at St. Teresa School of Avila in 1971 and made it his home for 44 years. Dan taught well over 1000 students during his career including current student's parents. Dan had a very strong faith and his life was an example of what he taught. It was important to him to share his deep faith with his students.
Dan coached basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and football, always the teacher. But he will best be remembered for his enthusiastic cheering from the stands for his own children.
Dan was a selfless man who was well loved and respected by many. He will be missed.
