Daniel C. Rothweiler, affectionately known as Dan, was born on August 29, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away on November 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a warm smile that touched the hearts of many.
Dan had a fulfilling career as a truck driver for Coca-Cola, where he demonstrated an unwavering work ethic and a commitment to his profession that earned him the admiration of his colleagues. His life was characterized by his loving nature, sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. He could always be counted on to bring cheer to any room, often leaving those around him with smiles and fond memories.
He dedicated 45 wonderful years to his wife, Linda Rothweiler, who stood by his side through life's ups and downs. Together, they raised a beautiful family that he cherished deeply. As a proud father, he is survived by his children, Lisa Sullivan and Daniel (Brandi) Rothweiler Jr., both of whom carry forward his legacies of love and kindness. Dan was also a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren: Kyle and Lora Sullivan, and Gwendolyn, Gabrielle, and Giuliana Rothweiler, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Dan's close-knit family also included his siblings: Raymond Rothweiler, Shirley Roberts, and Sandy (Gary) Pieper. He held dear memories of his late sister, Debra Royce, and his parents, Raymond and Charlotte Rothweiler, who shaped the values he cherished throughout his life.
His greatest pride came from his wife and family, whom he adored without reservation. Dan's spirit will continue to live on in their hearts and the countless memories they created together.
Visitation will take place at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi Rd. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. A Graveside Service will then be held at St. Joseph New Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
Dan's contributions to family, friendships, and community will be remembered fondly, and his loving spirit will be forever cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
