David Wallace Jones

Jones David Wallace beloved husband of Edna Brinkley Jones, loving father of Elisabeth M. (Glenn Ward) Jones and Deborah Jones Leininger, grandfather of Jenna, Zachary and Megan Leininger and Maia Aiwei Jones Ward, brother of Bronwyn Jones (David) Nelson and Philip A. Jones, son-in-law of Ruth Ryan Brinkley, uncle to David W. Nelson IV, preceded in death by his parents Thomas David and Marguerite Wurster Jones, Friday December 4, 2009, age 68 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. He received his BA from Harvard University and his JD from The Chase College of Law. He was a partner for Dinsmore & Shohl law firm and retired in 1985. He was a former volunteer firefighter and legal counsel for Northern Hills Fire Dept. (now Springfield Twp.) He was an active member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in various leadership roles and followed in his parents' footsteps by singing in the choir for over 20 years.Visitation Tuesday 10-11 AM with service to follow at Immanuel Presbyterian Church 3445 Clifton Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Beechwood Home 2140 Pogue Ave. (45208) or to the National MS Society.
