David Modafari, born on August 17, 1959, departed from this world on March 26, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, cherished for his quiet and fun-loving personality. David dedicated over 38 years of his life to his career as an electrician with Schneider Electric, where he found great pride and fulfillment in his work.
He was a thoughtful individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched the lives of many. David held a deep affection for sports, being an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and Bearcats. In his leisure time, he enjoyed the camaraderie of playing golf and poker, activities that further showcased his love for connection and joy.
David's personal life was deeply intertwined with his family. He was the cherished son of Jemma Modafari and Joseph (Mary) Modafari. He leaves behind his dear siblings: Dale Modafari, Sharon (Bill) Grubbs, Brian (Kathleen) Modafari, Michelle (the late Dennie) Modafari-Cordell, Nicole Modafari, Jason (Kenzie) Modafari, and Brandon Modafari. Additionally, David was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom will miss his warm presence.
David will be lovingly remembered, particularly for the profound bond he shared with his mother, showcasing the loving family values he held dear throughout his life.
In remembrance of David, visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Delhi, Cincinnati, Ohio. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, concluding with interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
David also had strong roots in the community, having attended Delhi Junior High School and Colerain High School, institutions that shaped his formative years.
David was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, William and Evelyn Modafari, and Robert and Corine Schrenker. His legacy will live on through the memories he created with those who loved him. He leaves a lasting impact in the hearts of all who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived filled with love, laughter, and service to others.
