Deborah H. Yocis

Deborah H. Yocis, beloved mother and devoted wife, left this world on the 11th of March 2025 at the age of 73. Born March 9, 1952, Deb lived a life rich in love with a dedication to kindness, which resonated with all who had the privilege to know her.

Deb had a nurturing spirit and a warmth that will be profoundly missed by her family and friends. Her love for rural living was evident in her passion for farming, and spending time on their property in Illinois. Gardening was one of her cherished pastimes, as she relished cultivating crops and flowers, adding beauty to her surroundings. Her heart extended beyond her human family to her beloved dogs, Cooper and Molly Malone, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Each 4th of July, Deb hosted her family, gathering in Illinois for their annual reunion. The tradition highlighted the strong bonds she fostered among her loved ones and the memories they created.

Her husband, Jay Yocis, and her children Jason Dall, Sarah Yocis, John (Shannon) Yocis and Stephen Haney will forever carry her spirit and teachings. Additionally, her grandchildren Marley, Langston, and Rowan Dall will hold dear the lessons of love, and care she imparted. Deb leaves behind her beloved sisters Brenda (Tom) Hausterman and Becky (Gary) Bowker. The memories they shared will remain etched in their hearts, reminding them of her caring nature and vibrant spirit.

Family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 18th from 5-7 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, March 19th at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church.
