Dolores G. Sabino, a cherished figure and vibrant soul, gracefully departed this life on November 12, 2024, at the age of eighty-nine. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 27, 1935, she was the beloved daughter of Louis and Gertrude Pfeifer, whose loving guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

Dolores was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Peter Sabino, for an extraordinary sixty-nine years. Their bond exemplified love’s enduring power, a partnership that flourished under the warmth of shared memories and mutual affections. As a devoted mother, she nurtured her late son, Peter Louis Sabino, instilling in him the values of compassion, resilience, and delight. She is survived by her loving and caring daughter-in-law Judith Sabino.

The joy of family extended beyond her immediate kin, as Dolores took pride in her role as grandmother to Peter Lawrence Sabino and Angela M. Elfers, further enriching their lives with her wisdom and playful spirit. She also celebrated her title as great-grandmother to Peter B. Sabino, Avery Elfers, and Carolyna Sabino, whose laughter brought her immeasurable happiness in her later years. Her legacy continues to thrive through these beloved descendants including her nephew Steven Linkenfelter .

Dolores's life was not only marked by her devotion to family but also by her vivacious personality; she was known for her fun-loving and outgoing nature. Her vibrant essence drew many to her, cultivating friendships that spanned decades. She had a genuine appreciation for life's simple pleasures, relishing moments spent shopping, gardening, and boating. Her dog, Bari, particularly held a special place in her heart, his companionship reflecting the warmth she radiated to all around her.

An alumna of Seton High School, Dolores carried with her the spirit of learning and community engagement throughout her life. She will be remembered not only for her vivacious energy and loving presence but for the indelible mark she left on the lives of those who loved her dearly.

In celebrating her remarkable journey, family and friends are invited to gather in a poignant farewell, starting with visitation on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, leading into a graveside service at St. Joseph New Cemetery, where her earthly remains will find their final resting place.

Dolores G. Sabino's life was a tapestry woven with love, joy, and cherished memories. While her earthly presence will be sorely missed, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
