Elizabeth Ann Crose

Crose Elizabeth Ann (nee Porter) Beloved wife of 50 years to Donald L. Crose, loving mother of Jennifer (Tim) Ward and Sherry (Fiance' Eric Morgan) Crose, grandmother of Logan and Amanda Ward, sister of Mary Evelyn Clarke Barkley and the late Dorothy Porter Dana and Dorcas Porter Doriot, daughter of the late Frank and Irene (nee Bucknell) Porter Storie Cutler, Auntie Ann to many nieces and nephews. She went to be with God on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the age of 72 after numerous cronic illnesses and the mumps. Ann was a graduate of Madison High School and Indiana University. She was past president of the Delta Zeta Alumni Association. She was active in Northminster Presbyterian Church activities, Deacon, Women's Circle and a volunteer. She started her career as an editor for the National Retail Hardware Association Publications and then worked for the Cincinnati and Greenhills Public School Systems. She was also a staff member for the Greenhills Journal for many years. As her hobbies she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, was an avid bird watcher, loved fishing and enjoyed a number of family cats while being a garage sale entrepreneur. She was an avid listener of WLW and Red's games. Lastly she has been an extrordinary caregiver to family and friends while being a cancer survivor herself. Funeral services will be Monday 11 AM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Road. Burial will be Tuesday 10 AM at the Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Interfaith Food & Clothing Center,American Cancer Society or the organization of your choice.
