Florence F. Leesman

Florence F. Leesman, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at the age of 98. Born on September 23, 1926, Florence lived a vibrant life filled with love, adventure, and a passion for traveling.

Florence had an admirable spirit that led her and her late husband, Charles Leesman, to explore every corner of the United States. Their shared love for Florida and the beach was well-known among family and friends. Together, they embarked on countless journeys, embodying a zest for life that inspired those around them.

Florence also held a deep affection for her family. She was a proud grandmother to Ben and Jake Lunsford, whose lives were illuminated by her kindness and wisdom. As an aunt, she cherished many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Doris Leesman and Ruth Leesman.

Her dear friend Anne Lunsford stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing laughter, stories, and memories that will forever be treasured. Florence's engaging personality made her a beloved figure in the lives of those who knew her.

She reunited in peace with her late husband Charles Leesman, son, Garth J. Leesman, and her late siblings, Lester R. Kesler and Shirley Angel, who welcomed her with open arms. The legacy that Florence leaves behind is rich with love and delightful memories, reminding us all to embrace life, travel widely, and cherish our loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Bayley, located at 990 Bayley Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45233. Following this, a Mass will celebrate her life at 10:30 AM in the same location. If desired, memorials may be made to Bayley. Florence’s spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire and uplift, as her loving memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
