George J. beloved husband of Joyce Scherer, loving father of Kevin (Michelle) Scherer, Kelly Johnson and Keith (Lisa) Scherer, grandfather of Kraig, Kirby, Danielle (Troy), Rachael, Courtney (Aaron), Cory, Abbey (Ryan), Ben, Molly, Chloe and Emma, great grandfather of Kellan and Declan, preceded in death by his parents Albert and Ethyln Scherer and his sister, Carolyn (late Jack) Meyer, survived by siblings, Alberta Grote, Geraldine West and Barbara Ullmann, many nieces and nephews. Sunday, March 13, 2016, age 72. Visitation Thursday 5:30 PM until 8 PM at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass Friday 10 AM at St. Dominic Church.
