George Allen Williamson

George Allen, 61, went to be with the Lord at home in Cincinnati, OH on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2012. George was born February 4, 1951 in Winchester, VA, the son of Nathan and Theresa Williamson, both deceased. He served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in 1991. He was a Recruiter in his hometown at the time of his retirement. In 1993, he relocated with his family to the Cincinnati, OH area to attend Cincinnati Bible College. He served as minister at Silver Grove Church of Christ in Silver Grove, KY for 2 years, interim minister at Hamersville Church of Christ in Hamersville, OH for 2 years, and most recently worked as a Field Representative for the U.S. Census Bureau. Survivors include his wife of 21 years Gina Marie Williamson; daughters Tessa Renee Perry (Wes Perry) and Susie Braun; son Nathan Edward Williamson; grandchildren Zachary, Jacob, Elaina, and Jack; a sister, Mary Williamson Simmons (Brint Simmons), and a brother. He is pre-deceased by his wife and children
