Gary Schroeder (Gerard George Schroeder), born on December 21, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, at the age of 74.
Gary was a devoted husband to his wife, Kathy of 54 years, and a proud father to his two children, Jeff and Brian (Dawn). His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, and Wes, all of whom he cherished deeply. Gary is also survived by his siblings, Maureen Elfers and Kevin (Debbie) Schroeder. His passion for sports extended beyond the family, as he was an avid enthusiast of NASCAR, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Bengals. Gary remained active throughout his life, playing softball until he was in his 50s, and also sharing his love for sports as a coach for knothole baseball, soccer, and basketball.
Gary dedicated a significant part of his life to his career at Provident Bank, where he served for 38 years. Following this retirement he held the esteemed position of Administrator for Delhi Township, serving his community with honesty and pride.
