Grandville Cleon Short
beloved husband of the late Carolyn Short, cherished son to the late Rose Huff, wonderful brother of the late Leon Short.  Cleon is survived by his niece Shawnna Short, many loving neighbors and a host of wonderful friends at Edgewater and all the others he came in contact with.

Cleon was the announcer at Edgewater Race Track for over 30 years.  He will always be loved an never forgotten.  May he rest easy with his wife, mother and brother. This world lost a great friend and man.

He passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at age 79.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
