James W. Albers

James W. Albers, born on May 15, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 28 2024, in his hometown. He is remembered as a dedicated professional and a beloved family man.

James committed 18 years of his life to Truck Pro, where he became a valued member of the community. His colleagues often spoke highly of his work ethic and his willingness to lend a helping hand.

He was a proud graduate Dater High School and carried the lessons learned there throughout his life. Known for his passion for rebuilding classic cars, James found joy in the intricate craftsmanship and the stories behind each vehicle. This hobby mirrored his approach to life—he believed in reviving and cherishing what was beautiful and meaningful.

James was the loving son of the late Ollie and Elizabeth Albers. He is survived by his son Adam J. Albers (Cristin) and daughter Amanda M. (Bruce) Simmons. His legacy continues through his granddaughter, Eleanor Simmons, who brought him immense joy.

James cherished his siblings, including Linda (Phil) Blanchette, Joe (Chris) Albers, Sherry (Bob) Schumacher, and Pat (Mary Beth) Schroer. As an uncle, he was adored by Sunny Trauth, Lauren (Rob) Trauth Saffin, Joe Albers, Matt (Stacey) Albers, Brian (Annie) Albers, Kaitlin Albers, Jason (Bri) Schumacher, Ashley Schumacher, Tyler Schumacher, Jason Jensen, Justin Jensen, Sarah (Daniel) Warren, Brian Schroer, and Neal Schroer.

James was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene (Dave) Trauth. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, as he made a lasting impact in the lives of his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. All are welcome to celebrate the beautiful life of James W. Albers.
