James E. Duffy

beloved husband of Marjorie A. Duffy (nee Broering) and the late LaVerne Duffy, loving father of Michael Duffy, James (Janet) Duffy (late Sally), Terri (John) Weymouth, Thomas (Kathy) Duffy and the late Daniel (Jamie-living) Duffy, step-father of Sue (Dave) Deye, Mike (Jill) Hammoor and Tom (Sandy) Hammoor, grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, brother of Betty Ciolino and the late Thomas Duffy, Sally Peters, Mary Catherine Pidgeon and many nieces and nephews.  Jim was a Legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach at St. Dominic.  He founded Duffy Insurance around 1974 and up until his death went into the office a few days a week. He was notorious for his "Donut Fridays".  Passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at age 95 after a brief illness. Visitation Tuesday, June 6th from 5-8 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 7th at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church.
