James "Pudge" Piccola Jr., a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on March 3, 1936, Pudge dedicated over 40 years of his professional life to General Motors, where his commitment and work ethic were deeply respected by colleagues and friends alike.

Pudge embodied an infectious spirit, known for his engaging personality and love for social connections. He was an avid sports fan, particularly devoted to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds, often seen cheering passionately for his teams. His faith was an integral part of his life, and he found great joy in attending church. He treasured his role as a grandfather to Heather (Kyle) Ellis, Matthew Hodges, Olivia Piccola, and Jordan Martin, and he embraced the joy of being a great-grandfather to Eli, Faith, and Grace. Pudge is also survived by his brother, Ronnie (late Mary) Piccola.

James was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Jeannine Young and Maureen Schaffield.
