Joanne M. Braun

Joanne M. Braun, born on December 12, 1941, in Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. A daughter of John and Mildred Hetzel, Joanne was raised in a loving family alongside her siblings, Rosemary, John "Hetz," and Shirley.

Her educational journey culminated at St. Xavier Commercial School, where she laid the foundation for a successful career. For over 20 years, Joanne served as an administrative assistant at Staubitz Sheet Metal, demonstrating her resilience and dedication in every aspect of her work.

Joanne was a devoted mother to her children, Kimberly Roseberry, Kevin (Amy) Braun, and Jeff (Laura) Braun. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and later as a grandmother, cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren—Amber, Christopher, Courtney, Brandy, Morgan, Brittany, Amanda, Zachary, Allison, and Andrew, as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Her family was undoubtedly her proudest accomplishment, and she poured love and attention into nurturing each one of them.

In her personal life, Joanne had a passion for sports; she loved playing games with her children and their neighborhood friends. She maintained a lifelong loyalty to the Cincinnati Reds and had a profound appreciation for the music of Elvis Presley. Bowling and attending her children's sporting events were also among her favorite pastimes, reflecting her vibrant spirit and commitment to family.

Joanne was known for her hard-working nature, a trait that defined both her professional and personal life. As a devout Catholic, she instilled strong values in her family, fostering a close-knit environment filled with love and faith.

The memories of Joanne M. Braun will remain cherished by all who knew her, encapsulated in her unwavering love for her family, her tireless work ethic, and her enduring spirit. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
