Backscheider, John B., beloved husband of Lavina "Toots" Loechtenfeldt Backscheider, loving dad of Linda Guilfoyle, Mary (Liz) Watkins, Sue Becker, Ann Mock, Jack, Edward (Bud), Richard & the late Jim & Jerry Backscheider, grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 16 gr-grandch. brother of the late Ann Merkel and Charles Backscheider. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002. Friends may call at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Funeral Mass Thursday Our Lady of Victory Church at 10 AM.
