Joyce Schutte (nee Jones) passed unexpectedly on July 20, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim Schutte. Joyce was the devoted mother of Karen (Richard) Lesiecki, Kathy (Scott Burkhart) Wohlfrom, Mike (Jennifer) Schutte, and Terri (Joe) Sunderman. Joyce also was the loving grandmother of Brian Lesiecki, Steven Lesiecki, Sarah Lesiecki, Emily Wohlfrom, Jonathon Wohlfrom, Jacob Schutte, Lauren Schutte, Katie Schutte, Clare Sunderman, Grace Sunderman, and Megan Sunderman. Joyce was the sister of Jay C. Jones (the late Alice) of Palm Dale, CA, Bobby (Pauline) Jones of Louisville, KY, Jo Anne (Jet) Short, and the late Mildred (Herb) Dozier, of Bronston, KY. Joyce was born in the hills of Kentucky, and her parents, George C. Jones and Mary Jones, moved to Cincinnati when she was young. A longtime resident of Delhi, over the years Joyce was very active in the activities of her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, especially for holiday gatherings. Joyce loved camping, including being a member of the KIO Ski Club on the Ohio River with dear friends for about 40 years. Joyce and Jim have enjoyed traveling together extensively, including winter camping trips throughout Florida and the South. Family was everything to Joyce, and she loved telling everyone who will listen all about her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many.
