Cincinnati- June L. Jewett, 85, dear wife of Gordon (Rev. D.G. Jewett) died after a brief stay in the hospice unit at Maple Knoll Village. She is survived by her husband and by sons Daniel of Tarrytown, NY, Stephen (Kris) of O'Fallon, MO, David (Kim) of Seattle, and daughter Beth of Houston; nephew Robert Harand (Menchie) and niece Carol, and grandniece Katelyn all of Los Angeles. Also nephews Harry D. Tonks (Dottie), Peter Tonks (Fran) and niece Barbara Tonks Brown. June has eight grand-children, Eva, Marilyn, Zachary, Aaron, Rachel, Natalie, Logan and Seth. June was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Harand of Los Angeles. June was a beloved Bible teacher at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Finneytown and at other churches where her husband served. She was an RN with a BS from Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in 1954 and in her last position taught practical nursing at Great Oaks Technical School in Cincinnati. A Memorial service will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Road, 45231, 4:00 PM Monday, August 20th. Memorial gifts maybe given to the Endowment Fund at Northminster Presbyterian Church or to The Jesus Film Project, P.O. Box 628222, Orlando, FL 32862-8222.
