Karen J. Hightower

Hightower Karen J. Beloved partner of 20 years to Lynn Bowie. Loving mom of Catherine Shelby. Karen worked as a behavioral specialist at Chidren's Hospital for 15 years. She continued her work by supporting individuals with special needs and their families for 18 years at the Resident Home for the Mentally Retarded. She is also survived by her brothers: Tom (Beth) of Baton Rouge La. & Rick (Lynn) Hightower of Tenn. Several nieces & nephews and many friends. Saturday, June 3, 2006 age 58. Friends may call Monday, June 5, 5-8 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home 8611 Winton Rd. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11:00 at St. Monica-St. George Church, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
