Leahy Lilian (nee Blum Chavez), beloved wife of 63 years of Richard S. Leahy, cherished and devoted mother of the late Richard S. Leahy, Jr. and of Lillian L. (Daniel J.) McCabe, sister of Jorge Blum Chavez of Santiago, Chile and of several deceased siblings, maternal aunt of Roberto Munoz of Sanibel Island, FL and of Ana Veronica (Anita) Munoz Butler of West New York, NJ and of Max Blum and Mimi Blum of Houston, TX and of many nieces and nephews in Chile, after a long illness, died October 30, 2010. Born in Concepcion, Chile, September 3, 1918. Former member Chilean National Ballet and studied under the renowned German Ballet Maestro, Ernst Uthoff. She was an avid bridge player, gardener and homemaker. Visitation Friday, Nov. 5, 9:00 to 10:45 AM at the St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd., (45231). Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Fr. Patrick Welsh, celebrant. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials to Sisters of Notre Dame deNamur, 701 E. Columbia Ave., Reading, OH 45215.
