Linda Steigerwald (nee Kaiser)

Linda Steigerwald, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on June 6, 1947, Linda was the cherished wife of 45 years of Thomas Steigerwald, whom she married on June 9, 1979, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Sedamsville.

She was a devoted mother to Elizabeth Marks (Andrew) and a loving grandmother to Emma and Joshua Marks.

Linda retired in 1995 after a distinguished career spanning 30 years with the University of Cincinnati College of Business, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Her family was her pride and joy, and she took great delight in spending time with them, traveling, and spoiling her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Carol (John Boertlein) Gray, and was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Emma Kaiser, brother, Daniel Kaiser, brother-in-law Kevin Gray, and cousin Rosemary Delaney.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral blessing at noon at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.

Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be remembered for her generosity, love, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
