Marguerite "Peggy" (nee Nolan) age 84 of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Flannery, loving mother of Matthew (Chrissie) Flannery, Michael (Kathleen) Flannery, Shannon Flannery, Colleen (David) Wimmel and Mark (Lisa) Flannery, dear grandmother of Patrick (Kristin), Katie (Shane), Ryan (Jessica), Danny, Megan, Nick, Erin, Mick (Melanie), Molly, Brendan, Joe, Mike, Sean, Joey, David and great-grandmother of Dillon, Patrick, Nolan and two on the way, beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite Nolan, sister of John and the late Patricia, Joseph, Pauline and James. She attended Blessed Sacrament then Villa Madonna Academy before graduating from the University of Cincinnati. Peggy began her work career as a Flight Attendant for TWA in the early 1950's before raising her family. In later years, Peggy returned to work as a Receptionist, then Office Manager, for Physiatrics Associates, before retiring. For many years, Peggy volunteered to actively support people in need, across several charitable and civic organizations, such as: Old St. Mary's Pregnancy Center, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Greater Cincinnati Convention and Visitor's Bureau and various Parish organizations over many years at St. William, St. Theresa, Mother of God's and St. Dominic. Visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Private Burial will be held by the family at St. James Cemetery in Brooksville, KY.
