Marjorie Ellen Glasser

Nee John. Died in Ashland, Kentucky. Marjorie was born on June 13, 1921 to parents William Carl John and Hazel Ellen (Vogt) John of Monaca, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Glasser is survived by her eldest son Stephan W. Glasser and wife, Mary, daughter Ellen L. (Glasser) Surgalski and husband David, and youngest son David C. Glasser and wife, Myra Pucci, as well as grandchildren Jennifer Surgalski, Paul Glasser, Mark Surgalski and wife Carra, and Jeff Glasser. She is also survived by siblings Doris (John) Dawson and Dan John, as well as extended family members Barbara John and Donato Zopppi, and lifelong friend Emily Starr. Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Charles Glasser, brother Robert John, sisters Betty (John) Fath and Wilma (John) Yoho, father William C. John, and mother Hazel E. (Vogt) John.

Mrs. Glasser was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in Cinncati, Ohio until 2002, where she served as a Deacon and enjoyed the fellowship of the Women's Circle. Marjorie spent several years as a volunteer at both the Red Cross blood bank in Springfield Township, OH and Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following her relocation to Kentucky, she took residence at Morning Pointe Ridge in Russell, KY where she enjoyed participation in the bible study group.
