Marlene "Margie" K. Lay

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlene (Margie) Katherine Lay (nee Schwartz), who departed this world on May 27, 2023 at age 85.

She is survived by her husband Elmer Lay; children Stephen (Martha) Lay and Kimberly (Michael) Eby; grandchildren Megan Lay, Nicholas Lay, Jacob Eby, and Jason Eby; sister Gloria Duffy; and many cherished friends. May we find solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

Visitation to honor and celebrate the life of Marlene Lay will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 12 PM at St. William Church in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
