Mary Ann Luebbering

Mary Ann Luebbering (nee Baringhaus), born on December 16, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on January 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and spirited determination. A devoted wife to Jerry Luebbering and a loving sister to Virginia Baringhaus and Jo Ellen (Tom) Sunderhaus. Mary Ann was also a caring second mother to Gregory (Susan) Luebbering, Scott (Jenny Roth) Luebbering, Amy (Kris) Ghosh, Nicholas (Kim) Luebbering, and Andrew (Jenn) Luebbering. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Justin (Morgan), Tristen (Ruth), Lena, Luke, Shelby, Annabelle, Evelynn, and Jack, along with her great-grandchildren Dacee, Kane, Alayna, Ronin and her niece, Maria (AJ) Arand, and her great nephews, Sebastian and Milo.

 A woman of remarkable spirit, Mary Ann was known for her feisty nature and spunk. Her generosity extended far beyond the bounds of her family as she actively dedicated time and resources to help others. Many lifelong friendships were nurtured through her unwavering kindness, and those who knew her cherished her selfless ways. She was a familiar face at all her grandchildren's events, cheering them on with pride and passion.

Mary Ann was very active in her church, St. John Dry Ridge, where she was active in RCIA, Worship Commission, CCD and the new Church Building Committee. 

The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects Thursday, January 30th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238 or Friday, January 31, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist, located at 5361 Dry Ridge Road, Cincinnati, OH 45252. A Mass will follow at 11:00 AM.  If desired memorials may be made to Help a Student Education Fund at St. John the Baptist, Dry Ridge School.

Mary Ann Luebbering will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her vibrant spirit and compassionate heart will continue to serve as an inspiration to those she leaves behind.
