Mary Jean (nee Keiner) beloved wife of Edward Schutte, loving mother of Deborah (James) Wasserbauer, Don (Rick) Schutte, Dan (Karen) Schutte, Diane (Chris) Seeman and Dori (Trey) Moellering, grandmother of Kelly, Tori, Nick, Brett, Abby, Jason, Lydia, Meredith, Calvin, Holly, Cody and Grayson, sister of Nancy (late Bob) Loftus, James (Joni) Keiner, Larry (Jan) Keiner and the late Tom (Judy) Keiner. Sunday, April 3, 2016, age 74. Visitation Wednesday 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass to follow at 1 PM at St. Dominic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Good Samaritan Foundation or Memorials may also be made in Mary Jean's honor to Caring Response Madagascar Foundation. It is an organization founded and operated in part by Virginia Wiltse, the wife Dr. David Wiltse who took such good care of Mary Jean for so many years. It collaborates with existing missionary and relief efforts in Madagascar to identify areas of unmet needs, to develop creative projects to address those needs, and to seek support from private donors and foundations in order to initiate and sustain their projects. They are a charitable nonprofit agency dedicated to responding to the needs of the poor in Madagascar, particularly in the district of Tamatave (Toamasina) which lies along the country's Eastern coastline.
