Nikola Tesla, age 48, fell asleep in the Lord suddenly on May 9, 2020, at home in Cincinnati. Nikola was born August 23, 1971, to Slobodanka and Ratko Tesla in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was a graduate of Orchard Park Secondary School and Mohawk College. He married Linda Tesla on May 18, 2002, in Cincinnati. He worked as a machinist/tool engineer at Eltool Corporation in Cincinnati for many years, displaying a skill for designing and manufacturing precision machine parts. Above all, Nikola was kind-hearted. Often described as the kindest person I ever knew, he offered friendship to everyone he met. He loved big and served his friends with wise counsel, strong hugs, amazing food, and easy humor. He was a faithful member of the Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church in Cincinnati. An avid animal lover, Nik was always in the company of his beloved dogs. But the jewel of his life was his family: daughters Lauren and Katelyn, and wife, Linda. May his memory be eternal.
He is survived by his daughters Lauren and Katelyn Tesla, wife Linda Tesla (nee Harlow), his father Ratko Tesla, and his brother Marko (Amanda) Tesla. He was preceded in death by his mother, Slobodanka Tesla.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church at 5830 Glenview Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
