Pamela J. Grofer, born on November 10, 1953, passed away on October 19, 2024. A dedicated pipefitter and lifetime member of Local 392, Pam was respected for her commitment to her craft and the community she served.
Outside of her profession, Pam was a woman of diverse interests and talents. She found joy in gardening, cooking, and diving into genealogy. She also held a passion for welding, a skill that reflected her resourcefulness and determination. Pam cherished quiet moments with her tea and coffee, as well as the thrill of junking, the art of reading, quilting, fly fishing and, collecting of tea cups and tea pots.
Pam is survived by her beloved child, Valerie Grofer. She leaves behind her mother, Lorraine, and her siblings: Daniel (Rita) Grofer, Karen Grofer, Richard (Connie) Grofer, Sandra Grofer, and Patricia (Ralph) Brueneman. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, April, Emily (Adam) Harpold, Megan (Kyle) Macke Moon, Sabrina, and Derek, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Devron, Atticus, Braelyn, Knox, and Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Grofer, and her brother William Grofer, along with her sister Marilyn (Eric-living) Macke.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 7777 Compton Lake Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society. The event will honor Pam's legacy and the many lives she touched.
Pam will be remembered fondly for her warmth, creativity, humor and unwavering spirit. Her contributions to her family and community will leave an enduring impact on all who knew her.
