Patricia Williams, age 79, passed away on September 6, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was first diagnosed 18 years ago and celebrated living every day until the end of her life. Pat was born on March 14, 1933 to William, former mayor of Greenhills, Ohio, and Margery Williams. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Robert Black, children Dale (Susan) Black and Denise "DeDe" (David) Wagner, grandchildren Robert and Brandon Black and Lane and Paul Wagner, great-grandchildren Braylin and Isaac Black and brother Thomas (Jackie) Williams.
She attended Miami University where she was a member of Chi Omega, and earned a bachelor's degree in education. While In college, she met the love of her life, Robert Black, on a blind date and they shared 57 wonderful years together. Pat was a fifth grade teacher at Beachwoods Elementary School in Greenhills, Ohio, for 30 years. Many of her students came to visit her for years after she retired, showing their appreciation for her efforts to educate as well as mold them into model citizens. Pat was a member of the Cincinnati Woman's Club for over 15 years, reveling in the chance to serve others and participate in the many programs of the club. She especially enjoyed being an active participant in the choral group.
