Rebecca Bishop

Rebecca Bishop, fondly known as Becky, was born on February 29, 1980, and she departed from this world on September 19, 2024. She lived a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments with her family and friends. Becky had a passion for life that was reflected in her many hobbies and interests.

Becky loved playing cards, particularly the game 5000, a pastime that brought her immense joy and connection with those around her. Her enthusiasm for music made concerts a highlight of her life, allowing her to experience the magic of live performances. She had an unwavering affinity for reading, which transported her to different worlds through the pages of her favorite books. Her love for late-night car rides became a cherished tradition, filled with conversations and memories shared with her closest companions. Most importantly, Becky found fulfillment in spending quality time with her family and friends.

She will be profoundly missed by her brother, Rickie "Rick" Bishop, who cherishes the bond they shared. Becky was also a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews, including Chris (Ryan) Bishop, Brian (Crystal) Hounshell, Corey Vaughn, Brandon Keith, Shea (Marc) Bishop, and Shonda Bishop. Her family tree continued to grow with great-nieces and great-nephews, including Alyssia and Preston Hounshell, Rylee and Lincoln Farmer, and Layne Wernsing, alongside Rebecca, Jasmine, Jaden, and Chriss Bishop.

Becky's heart, however, carried the memories of her beloved parents, Preston and Darlene "Dottie" Bishop, her sister Angela "Angie" Hounshell, and cousin Lauren Patterson, all of whom have preceded her in death. She also shared a special bond with her furry companion, Buddy, who was not just a pet but her cherished baby, providing her comfort and companionship.

To honor Becky’s life and spirit, a visitation will take place on September 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location, beginning at 11:00 AM.

As we reflect on Becky's life, we remember her vibrant personality and the love she shared so generously. Her memory will undoubtedly continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
