Richard was born on Memorial Day, 1927. Although Richard Harold Evans was his formal name, depending upon when your lives intersected with his over his 85+ years, he was known as Dick, Zeke, Doc, Dad, Grandpa Doc, Doc Evans, Dr. E., or perhaps Biggy. Dick was born at Christ Hospital and grew up in the Clifton area. He had one brother, Robert, and lived a good part of his young life with his mother, Lida, his grandfather, Albert Wells, and his brother. He attended Hughes High School and was one of the
Survivors include his wife, Roslyn, of Springfield Township, sons Scott (Melinda), Tom (Sarah), and Bob (Linda), all in the Cincinnati area, grandchildren Adam, Amanda, Michael, Max, Samantha, Kellie, Maddie, Ben, Mason, and Andrew, son-in-law, Roger Smith, of Springfield, and son-in-law, Chris Joseph, of Centerville. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Pam Evans Smith and Susan Evans Joseph and his brother, Robert Clayton Evans.
