Richard W. "Rick" beloved husband for 56 years to Lynne Haynes, loving father of Richard Haynes Jr., Amanda Haynes, Lisa Haynes and the late Kimberlee Wilbur, dear grandfather of Jesse, Kelsey, Ryan, Carlie, Austin, Kaylin, Taylor, Evan, Shannon and the late Rodney "Anthony" Maier and great-grandfather of Melody and Nova, dear brother of Everett, Freddie, Sissy, Mike, Mark, Marty and the late Beverly and Steven, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. Rick was a retired United States Army Sergeant First Class for 20 years. He was awarded two bronze stars and two purple hearts along with many other awards and commendations. He served two tours in Vietnam. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2nd at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. from 5PM-8PM. Funeral Mass will be Thursday May 3rd at St. Dominic Church at 10AM. Full Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
