Robert Bob Waymeyer

Robert “Bob” Waymeyer passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 62, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite the loss of his wife Penny (who passed away on December 1, 2015) and his battle with medical issues, he continued to fight with courage, laughter, and his smile.

Robert first met Penny in grade school, they found each other again years later. After a few dates, Penny stated “Either marry me or leave me alone.” They were married in 1988 and remained together 27 years until Penny’s passing.

Robert is survived by his son, Patrick. His future daughter in-law Elisabeth. His brother, John. His sister, Mary, and her husband Eddie. His many nieces and nephews. As well as his many friends and loved ones, living and passed.

Robert’s celebration of life will not only be for him, but also Penny, as Robert was in the hospital and unable to attend her celebration of life. His only regret in life, which will now no longer be a burden upon him, so they both may rest in peace.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 19th at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. from 5:00PM until time of memorial service at 7PM.
