Robert J. Sr., born 11/20/17 to Clarence Hans, Sr. and Martha Dornette Hans. Preceeded in death by his son Robert J. Hans, Jr., brother Clarence Hans, Jr. and his first wife Doris Belzer Hans. Survived by his wife, Betty L. Hans, daughter Sandra Hans Kelley, son-in-law Christopher Kelley, daughter-in-law Patricia Hans, grandchildren Mandy Moore, Scott Hans, Megan Kelley and Zoe Kelley. Passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015.
He attended Western Hills High School, University of Cincinnati and Miami University, and worked at Cincinnati Milacron in administration for 42 years, the last 12 as Corporate Secretary. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corp and flew missions over the Himalaya Mountains from India to China and Burma, and was awarded the Air Medal.
He loved to play trumpet and was active in the Western Hills, UC, Miami, American Legion and Queen City bands, including many years in the Miami University Alumni Marching Band.
He was active in his church; on session at Westwood First Presbyterian Church, Greenhills Presbyterian Church and Northminster. He also served as a Deacon. He taught Sunday school for 19 years, and sang in the Northminster choir.
He served on the Greenhills Board of Education for 6 years. He coached his son's Little League teams and his daughter's softball teams, and enjoyed playing tennis.

A memorial service will be Thursday, August 20th at 11:30AM at Maple Knoll Chapel on the Green, 11100 Springfield Pike, Cinti, OH 45246. A reception will follow the memorial service.
