Roberta (Bobbie) Lee (Steffee) Jalali, 74, passed away from natural causes on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter Shanna (Jeffrey) Bumiller and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her three dogs, Bella, Marbles, Mikito, and two cats – all of whom have been adopted by loving families. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Jalali.
Bobbie worked as an Intervention Specialist at Northwest Local Schools in Cincinnati, where she was fondly referred to as “Ms. J.” She was also an Intervention Specialist in the Euclid City School District in Euclid, OH. She was an avid reader, she thoroughly enjoyed shopping, and she loved sweets (especially ice cream). Teaching and working with students made her happy, and she often talked about her local school families. Bobbie also worked with the Ohio American Eskimo Rescue, and she devoted much of her time and energy to her pets, as her pets were her pride and joy.
Bobbie was a devoted teacher, an avid advocate for animals, and a respected and cherished friend. Everyone who knew Bobbie knew she was full of light and positivity. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
No services will take place for Bobbie, but we appreciate your love and support during this difficult time. Bobbie loved American Eskimo dogs (Eskies), and we ask that in lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Ohio American Eskimo Rescue.
