Rudolf August, beloved husband for 61 years to Carole Hermes (nee Bruner), loving father of Krista Werbil, Anne (Frank Laske) Volkmann, Tyson (Julie) Hermes and Erik (Melissa) Hermes, loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, dear brother of Agnes (Gerhard) Oevermeyer, beloved son of the late August and Anna Hermes. Rudolf was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He was an award winning architect and builder. Passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016. Friends may call at the Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Rd. Saturday 9:00AM-10:15AM. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30AM at St. Dominic Church.
