Rutson L. Wood

Wood Rutson L. beloved husband of 62 years of Helen A. Wood, loving father of Barbara (Neal) Hedegard, Pamela (David) Olivet and Dr. Raymond (Kim) Wood, grandfather of Stephen Wood, Rachael Wood and Carl Hedegard, brother of Marilyn Barbe and Miriam Kreitner, Saturday, May 7, 2011, age 85. Rutson graduated from UC and worked 39 years at CG&E as a Corrosion Specialist. He belonged to the Engineering Society of Cincinnati, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and National Assoc. of Corrosion Engineers. He also did work for the Better Business Bureau as an Arbitrator, was a Junior Achievement Advisor, a Sunday School Superintendant at Northminster Presbyterian Church and a US Army Veteran. A memorial service will be Friday 11 AM at Northminster Presbyterian Church 703 Compton Rd. (45231). Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
