Sharon L. Burrell

Sharon L. Burrell (nee Silverman), age 81, passed away on August 26. “Sherry” was born on May 14, 1943 to Jack and Olive Silverman. She graduated from Withrow High School in 1961 and went on to earn her degree in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati. She married Donald H. Burrell in 1965 and they enjoyed 56 years together. They were loving parents to Brian and Emily (Levenson) and grandparents to Abigail Burrell and Ryan Levenson. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Olive, her sister Denise Wheat, and husband Don Burrell. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doting on her canine companions, Jackson, Martino and Buddy. Sherry also loved spending time outside tending to her garden, as well as reading mystery novels, and traveling throughout the U.S. and overseas. 

Her family would like to express their gratitude for the support and friendship of neighbors Joe and Kathy, David and Cathy, and Ben and Jo Ann and friend Chloe.

No memorial services. Burial at Judah Touro Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Free Store/Food Bank.
