Tassos J. Kyrios
Age 85, had a full life and fell asleep in the Lord on July 14, 2018. He was born on March 6, 1933 in Leonidion, Greece. He was the son of John and Eleni Kyrios and served in the Greek Navy. He immigrated to the United States in 1966 and became a citizen to better his life and support his family in Greece. He worked for Hart Schaffner Marx in Chicago and U.S. Shoe in Cincinnati as a master tailor before he and his wife started their own tailor business in North College Hill over 40 years ago. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Matina and Maria (John) Sarris, in Greece. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Maria Kyrios, his daughter, Helen "Eleni" Kyrios and John Kyrios of San Diego. In Greece, he leaves behind one sister, Thespina (Sotiros) Piliouras and numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many cherished customers and friends. He was a member of AHEPA Liberty Chapter 127. Visitation will be Thursday, July 19th from 10:30 AM until time of funeral service 12 PM at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45224. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Church Endowment Fund. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. www.vittstermeranderson.com
